
MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Associate Level
Admission to the Associate level applies to candidates with a minimum of First Degree from accredited tertiary institutions. A candidate who has at least two (2) years of work experience in a related field but has no First Degree may qualify
Practitioner Level
Admission to the Practitioner level applies to candidates who have completed the Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management (Associate level). A candidate who has gained environmental or sustainability knowledge through work experience at least five (5) years or relevant academic qualification (preferably a Master's Degree in a related field) may qualify.
Chartered Level
For the Chartered/Full Member level, applies to a candidate who has at least 10-15 years’ professional experience in the field of environment and sustainability is qualified to apply. There are 5 meeting days and written essays and mentorship for the entire programme. An oral exam that is meant to assess one’s competence is based on an assessment by 2 people selected from anywhere in the world.
